Welcome! My name is Lauren. I’m a 20-something California local & silk scrunchy enthusiast. I have a passion for wellness, mindfulness, education and writing. A complimenting love for fashion, finance, and fitness. Oh, and the ocean! Definitely the ocean. I’m an entrepreneurship major and psychology graduate student here in California. I’m currently entering the field of applied behavioral analysis and work with students on the Coast.
Where it began...
In the beginning, I created this blog as a way to document my individual journey; unfold my writings, share passions and build community while working through college, maybe earning extra cashh money. So yeah, that didn’t happen right away.
My true found understanding: The line towards success is not a line at all, really. This is the same for the healing journey. Rather it is a very, very large mountain with peaks and crevasses. I’m beginning to realize its actually a good thing to use your interdisciplinary skillsets to lead your life and further develop yourself.
And now...
Just as the tree trunk is home to all of its branches, a unifying purpose drives my life and acts as the guide for all secondary goals. Above all else, my main ambition in life is to serve and build others.
This blog is built and dedicated to be able to help people develop into the best version of themselves. How might we do this, you may ask? Through awareness, consistent (even if small) change, and dedication towards personal growth that leads to an abundant, loving, and purposeful life!! Sound like a wild concept??
